Osmania University (informally OU, or Osmania) is a public university located in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is one of the oldest modern universities in India. It is the first Indian University to have Urdu and Indian regional language as medium of instruction. It has been accredited with an “A+” grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
